Orunodoi 3.0 Eligibility 2024

Assam state government has launched the third edition of the Orunodoi Scheme to provide financial assistance to the citizens of the state. Through this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 1250 per month to the economically weaker citizens of the state and widowed and unmarried women. The scheme provides financial assistance to widows, unmarried women, disabled persons, transgender persons, and economically weaker sections.

To avail the benefits of this scheme, the family income of the applicants should be less than Rs 2 lakh. Citizens fulfilling the requirements of Rs 2 lakh annually, Aadhaar-linked ration card, and residence, etc. can avail the benefit of this scheme.

Inclusion Orunodoi 3.0 Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam state.
  • To apply, the applicant must have a valid Aadhaar-seeded ration card
  • If the applicant is a woman then her age should be 18+.
  • Elderly or disabled women, widows, unmarried women (45+), divorced, abandoned, or transgender persons are eligible for this scheme.
  • Persons with disabilities regardless of gender are eligible to apply for this scheme.
  • Women suffering from HIV, Thalassemia, Haemophilia, Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy, or Autism are eligible to apply under this scheme.
  • The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs 2 lakh.

  • Families of MPs, MLAs, CEMs, EMS, or their former counterparts are not eligible to apply under this scheme.
  • Members of Panchayati Raj, Urban Local Bodies, and Autonomous Councils are also not eligible for the scheme.
  • Doctors, engineers, architects, CAs, lawyers, bankers, and teachers also do not have letters for this scheme.
  • Government contractors, real estate agents, industrialists, trade license holders, businessmen, and income taxpayers are not eligible.
  • Beneficiaries of similar cash schemes like “Orunodoi Plus” are not eligible.
  • If the family household owns a four-wheeler or has any marginal land, it is not eligible for the scheme.
